Chokoloskee Island Pet-friendly Holidays

Loud music next door came through the walls made it impossible to sleep. The first couple days were fine but things got pretty wild towards the end of the week with competing bands. There was no way you could sit on the balcony at night. There was also mold in the ceilings by vent and there was a big black spot in kitchen. The vent above the bed had condensation and black mold. Woke up with headaches every day. It would have also been nice to have a place to put your luggage. Everything was on the floor which freaked us out because we saw a roach in the hallway by the bathroom. The place is also not stocked very well. Kitchen has like 4 forks, weird shaped spoons and plastic plates which is not good in for using the microwave. Living room lighting was in the ceiling only. It was super bright even at the lowest setting, so I ended up using the lamp from the bedroom. It felt like a divorced man's apartment, not very cozy. I probably would not stay here again. Although having the beach across the street was pretty nice.
