South O'ahu Pet-friendly Holidays

Great hotel only 1 block from the beach. Amazing area surrounding by the best restaurants and shopping of Honolulu. If you travel with children, this is a great option since you have many activities and Target next door. I also love the fact that it's a very walkable area, pretty safe, and with tourists from around the world being relax and enjoying life. The highly recommend it and if I ever go back to Honolulu, I def would stay there. P/S: We had the premium ocean view double queen beds and it was a nice, modern, and upgrade room.

The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki.

Loved the vibe. Boutique feel. low key with access to all the main tourists spots but foot or short uber.

Waikiki outrigger Beach resort is in the perfect location on Waikiki beach,room had awesome views.Hotel is right on the beach. What I didn’t like was the hotel renovations and construction that was going on. The Mona surf rider on the south side and the Royal Hawaiian on the north side are much nicer resorts on the same beach with the same views. The grounds are nicer and these hotels are more luxurious. The famous Duke’s restaurant for us was a disappointment due to pricing and menu selection. $23 for coconut shrimp at happy hour, received four overcooked small shrimp and Mai tai’s were just OK.The Royal Hawaiian much better Mai tai’s.The Hula Grill upstairs is a much better restaurant food was good and views were awesome.Our beachfront room was nice our stay was was good, but overall this resort fell short in comparison to the other resorts at the same location for similar pricing. Big thumbs up to the Ke Kai catamaran, The Captain and crew we’re awesome,along with surfing out front of the hotel this was our highlight.

Very well run professional facility. My only complaint was the rocky beach. It appears that the sand has eroded away somewhat.
