The hotel was gorgeous- the staff was amazing, the location was perfect. There was one flaw. The WiFi was horrible on every floor except the lobby - it was constantly dropping and since cell signal in the area was bad we would have trouble utilizing the internet to find restaurants, buy tickets etc…. I am sure they will get the WiFi fixed and those hotel will be great. Even with the WiFi issues, I highly recommend it.

Our stay was completely ruined by a persistent sewage smell in our room that lasted for our entire visit. The odor was so overwhelming that it was difficult to relax, sleep, or even spend time in the room. We were traveling with our children, and no family should have to endure those conditions while on vacation. We brought the issue to the hotel’s attention multiple times, hoping it would be resolved or that the hotel would make things right. Unfortunately, the smell never improved, and despite the significant impact it had on our stay, the hotel refused to offer any meaningful compensation or discount. We chose this hotel expecting a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but instead we spent our vacation trying to avoid our own room. The lack of accountability and customer service after such a serious issue was incredibly disappointing. I cannot recommend this hotel. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and a hotel that stands behind its guests when things go wrong, I would look elsewhere.

We felt..special. The land, sea, rolling green hills, church bells, birds; a true haven of quiet retreat. Exceptional morning buffet! Transportation & communication impeccable. Accommodations very lovely. A special thanks to Anita (sp?) for bringing the family history and sculptures/art alive! And Pier (?), we selected one of your recommendations, Osteria Tumelin, for our farewell seafood lunch. Bravo! We’ll be back & will recommend you!
