A nice relaxing hotel in a convenient location, not too far from The Geothermal Park Hveragerð, Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and the Kerið Crater. A pool and hot tub are available. Breakfast had plenty of varieties of hot items and pastries. A small community park with a waterfall, neighborhood shops, cafes and food hall are also within walking distance.

Arik was an amazing help to
Our adventures. His recommendation of Laugaras Lagoon was fantastic! We loved the atmosphere and aesthetics of the hotel and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We loved the small yet relaxing pool out under the structure. It had a very apocalyptic look and feeling. The chef makes the most delicious Atlantic cod dish and the quinoa burger is tasty.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grimsborgir. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved having the hot tubs in such close proximity. The breakfast that was included was delicious and had a wide variety. I would absolutely stay here again! It was a perfect base of operations for exploring Reykjavik and Snæfellsnes.
