Uniquely beautiful

Would not recommend. Building is run down, lots of noise from the restaurant/bar upstairs, located in a bad corner of the city. Far over priced for what you get.

The room is spacious and has lovely views. Unfortunately; it was not as clean as we had expected. The resort is lovely but tired and in need of maintenance and touch ups. I would definitely rate it as four stars, not five. The staff are lovely.

We loved our stay there . The terrace view of the bay was spectacular. The staff was super accommodating in all ways. And while the hotel is up in the hills, the free shuttle that ran to and from Sorrento was very well run( it’s about a 20 minute trip each way). While we didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant, we enjoyed breakfast out by the pool every day. An important aspect to add, we discovered there is an elevator that takes you to the city centre , avoiding a long walk on the stairs. Also, Sorrento is a hidden gem to base your trip out of,. The shopping is amazing there and we managed to do day trips to Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, and Capri island ( highly recommend taking a small boat trip).
