My wife Zoe and I were in Reykjavík for our vacation, wedding, and honeymoon, and the hotel made every moment feel unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to celebrate with us and make us feel genuinely cared for. We were welcomed with thoughtful surprises—free champagne, beautiful balloons, and so many personal touches that made our room feel like a celebration in itself. Every interaction with staff felt warm, sincere, and attentive. They didn’t just acknowledge our special occasion; they embraced it with us. The atmosphere of the hotel is stunning: modern, calming, and luxurious without ever feeling pretentious. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, with views and details that made it hard to leave. The amenities, dining, and overall vibe created the perfect backdrop for our wedding week. What truly set this stay apart was the feeling of being supported and celebrated. Great location close to core shopping area. Had slight issue in room but got a free upgrade to a family suite which was great. Staff were attentive and reachable. I'd stay here again.

The breakfast was fresh. The room was overall clean. They seriously need to clean or replace the couches. The couch I had was filthy under the the pillows. The staff when checking in was pleasant. One cleaning lady was very kind. The others were not. If you go during the winter season don’t expect the snow to be cleared in front of the hotel. The cleaning people were loads one morning. Woke me up before 8, with the noise in the hallway. This should be required! Maintenance could have shoveled and cleared the entrance. Honestly the breakfast should have been included.

The staff was super friendly, even changing my room so I would have a better view in case the northern lights would make an appearance! I had to be up super early for a flight so in-room coffee makers would be my suggestion. Otherwise staff gave me a complimentary transfer back to the airport, what more could I ask for?!
