Room was clean and hotel well maintained. Staff were very friendly One thing I would suggest is restocking water in guest rooms with refills. Breakfast buffet was average. The views and beaches were nice. The hotel staff were really nice.

6/10 Overall – Beautiful Beach, But Many Disappointments The best part of Cocos Hotel Antigua is without a doubt the beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever experienced—crystal clear blue water, calm conditions, and absolutely breathtaking views. Unfortunately, the resort itself did not live up to the beauty of the beach. Service was inconsistent during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our server kept changing throughout meals, which resulted in multiple mistakes with our orders. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, and on our final night the entire resort lost internet access. Since there are no phones in the rooms, we had to leave our room and walk to the front desk for updates. The rooms also do not have televisions, so when the Wi-Fi went down there was very little to do. Other disappointments included no room service (and a $20 charge when we requested it), no buffet option, limited dining choices, no beachside food or drink service, and no gym on the property. We had to walk about 20 minutes to another gym and pay $80 for the week. There is also no coffee shop, bakery, or ice cream option on the resort. Evening entertainment is limited to live music from around 8:30–10:30 p.m., followed by a very quiet atmosphere. Cocos Hotel is a great choice if your main priority is a stunning beach and a peaceful, relaxing getaway. However, if you are looking for strong service, more amenities, activities, and entertainment, this resort may not be the best fit.

Staff was wonderful, the view was incredible. Very charming hotel with a resident cat that my son was quite obsessed with and took naps with us in our room. The location is not walkable to anywhere, we had to take taxis to and from downtown anytime we wanted to leave, which is quick and easy just adds up if you’re budgeting. The food and the vibe in the restaurant is fantastic. My only tiny complaint is the walk to the lower villa entrance. A winding path with stairs that is a little dirty and stinky (you pass the back of the kitchen). The other walkways were well tended to, it was just this one for some reason. But a very spacious villa with a huge balcony!

Paid for an ocean view and received a marina view which is partial. I was given a key and someone's had their things in the room. Went back and was given a room 2 doors down ,Still not an ocean view& Was told the hotel was booked for the night and I could be moved by 2pm next day. The next day I was moved to the seacliff tower ,over the pool and the room smelled like spilled coffee in the restroom, dirty towels, long strands of hair on the floor. We didn't get any new towels nor did housekeeping clean the room . Not the birthday trip I'd hoped for!!!
