Berwick-upon-Tweed Mountain Holidays

This is a nice hotel in a very busy area. My only complaint is the lack of A/C, which causes you to leave your window open in a very bustling and noisy area of town.

It felt very sociable and vibrant; staff were friendly and always willing to help

Warm welcome and wacky decoration at beautiful townhouse, well situated for university. Inflated prices due to open day not entirely justified - no towels or hand soap in bathroom, limited breakfast choice (only full English, only white toast)

I was surprised not to have gowns in the bedroom and some of the furniture in our room dated , for a 4 Star hotel the breakfast was lukewarm ,the area and the Hotel is Beautiful, However the Treehouses were amazing !! and the staff very helpful Would go again ,but stay in a treehouse !

The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options.

Beautiful rooms, service was excellent, lots of cosy places to sit in the main hotel. Room was too hot, we should have got the staff to look into it when we arrived. Was difficult to find seats in the spa as was busy.

Our room was very tired looking and in need of updating. Rooms small and no aircon. Would rate this a 3 star hotel not a 4 star

It was very basic, not much water pressure in the shower.

Staff are very friendly and price was decent Hotel is a bit tired and in need of a bit spending on it Overall slept ok and was handy for an early flight from he airport
