Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Quebec. Walking distance to the old city and all its attractions. The room was perfect and we were lucky enough to have a lovely outlook from our room. Full of charm and quirkiness the room came with extras in the bathroom. There is a small shop right down stairs and lovely cafe for breakfast in the st behind. Whilst the hotel does not have a formal reception all communication is done by sms and very easy to access the hotel and your room. Just be prepared to walk up some windy creaky stair’s to get into the hotel and your room but these just adds to the charm and quirkiness of the place 10 out of 10 for our stay.

The bed was very comfortable in a room that was extremely quiet considering the hotel is on a major street. There are many high quality restaurants and cafes within a very short walk. There was a blues festival a block away which we hadn't planned on attending but really enjoyed. The receptionist was extremely helpful and gave us a quick tour of the facilities and showed us to the room. The only negative comment we would have is that the parking is limited. We would highly recommend staying there and will definitely return the next time we are in Quebec City.

The hotel is definitely unique and striking in its appearance and layout, and if nothing else you would never forget the unique decor and the comfortably artistic common areas. This is complimented by the lovely breakfast experience, with the food being a thankful departure from the usual hotel fare that my wife and I have come to expect from stays in the U.S.A. The location of the hotel must also be praised, as aside from smaller nearby streets with plenty of shops and restaurants it is a straight shot from downtown Quebec City, with all the excellent eateries and sights to be found there. However, there are two recommendations I would make for any potential guests reading this review. The first is that you should reserve parking here far in advance, as we failed to do so and it isn't guaranteed that any will be available on the day of arrival if you don't. The second is that you may encounter some wear and tear in your room, as ours sported a sadly-sagging storage shelf near the door and errant stains here and there. That said, when considering the overall comfort we enjoyed, I declare this place to be a solid location to book with when visiting Quebec.
