The mattress on the pullout sofa was so filthy, moldy, and full of dirt it could not be used. This meant that 2 guys over 6 ft tall had to share a full size bed. We were told we would have to tell them exactly what we wanted to be cleaned. In the end, the garbage built up in the rooms daily upon and wet towels were never taken away. It was quiet and the bed was fine. Older style furniture but not sure any better motels in the area. "This is a very old building in a beautiful situation overlooking the lake. It could do with some upgrading to retain the character whilst providing more modern facilities eg there was an extension lead provided for electric plugs as there were few in the room and the furniture was well used."

"This hotel in Elma, WA was clean, the beds are firm but comfortable, the breakfast was free and typical of most better hotels, with egg omelettes, pancakes and decent coffee. We only stayed 1 night so didn’t get to use any of the other amenities. Easy last minute check in, as we didn’t plan ahead. I would recommend to others and stay again as well."
