Lakeland - Winter Haven Kid friendly Holidays

One of the most disappointing parts of our stay was when I asked if it was possible to change the date of one of our reserved nights\. It was simply a date mistake, not a cancellation, and we were still planning to stay at the hotel\. Unfortunately, the initial response was an immediate “no,” with no willingness to explore any possible solution or alternative\. In the end, we had to pay for an additional night in order to stay, while the prepaid night went completely unused\. I understand that hotels have policies, but great customer service is shown when staff make a genuine effort to help guests whenever possible\. After a long day of traveling, a little flexibility and empathy would have made a big difference\.
