West Coast Kid friendly Holidays

The location is superb, right in the center of the Old Town. It’s within walking distance of the train station and all the main tourist attractions. The room was spacious compared to other places we stayed and was very nicely decorated. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard, and it was very quiet at night. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because we had to leave at 6 a.m., before the cafeteria opened. However, the hotel prepared breakfast bags for us with a sandwich, yogurt, an apple, and juice. This was super convenient for our early morning train trip! I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends!

Room had a weird Oder. We were three people and one used sofa bed but was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Expect better!

Loved this hotel stay. The complimentary food was good quality with plenty of choices. The staff were all professional, approachable and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The sliding mirror door was missing from the wardrobe in one of our rooms but we used the mirror in the bathroom instead. The complimentary gym was good too. It was easy to find the hotel and a good location, just a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station, Bus Station and Tram Stops. We would stay at this hotel again if we returned to Gothenburg, and we are now looking at booking with this hotel chain for future trips to Scandinavia. Highly recommended!

Room smelled really stale and was poorly maintained with marks on a number of walls. The hotel was fully booked so could not change room. Cleaning staff came by and acknowledged the issue but all they could do was give us some fresh air spray. The hotel was in a good location and the bedding and towels were clean. The staff were as helpful as they could be I guess. However the room was a sad and rather neglected space, even the corridors and stairs seemed more institutional and neglected than a central city hotel. Really disappointing stay and will not be repeated.

The room was clean. The building was undergoing maintenance which lead to noises early in the morning and closed off pathways. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was there isn’t a double lock. I’m so used to traveling with a top lock and a regular door lock this was odd. It is centrally located for the main attractions like Lilla Tong and the station to connect to Copenhagen. Highly recommend getting the 24+ hour pass since it’ll connect you back and forth from Copenhagen and the city central
