The accommodation was clean on arrival and well presented. Unfortunately the service was minimal. Staff did not clean, wash our towels or even deliver toilet roll to our rooms when requested as we ran out. My husband was asked to come to reception and collect it. There was a washing machine and we laundered our own towels. The spa was ok, would not make me visit. The stay was pleasant, the pool and area of the hotel were good. The level of service was extremely basic for a hotel.

Great place with a beautiful location by the lake, and amazing gardens. We had wonderful days at Splendido. We would come back. But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). Staff at reception were kind and helpful). Overall, a good choice if you want to spend a few days in the beautiful Lago di Garda.
