The hotel itself has a really cool vibe throughout. Everything is well-maintained and also retro chic. The restaurant is fantastic. We went to high tea and cannot say enough about how wonderful the offerings were. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms were super comfortable and clean. Also, have to say the tub was fantastic and very deep so made for a wonderful evening hot soak with bath salts readily available!! The only thing I will say is a possible negative is that the parking garage actually cost less if you pay per day than if you use their parking pass. So I would just decline the parking but use the parking garage. They recommend anyway, because it is very convenient, well priced and safe.

Great location, hence we picked this hotel.
Check in was at 3pm. We waited around until this time, headed in only to be told our room wasn’t ready! Had to wait until 4pm to even get into the room. The hotel staff called when ready which was convenient.
This made our evening unnecessarily rushed as we had to be out at an event soon after.
Hotel itself is nice, the rooms are fairly outdated and drabby.
Given the price, I would have expected better condition suites & better service.
Much nicer hotels available for half the price in Auckland.
