Property is in desperate need of a renovation. The bathroom appears to be about 50 years old. The room had an overwhelming fragrance that smelled like baby powder that made me think they were trying to cover an unpleasant odor. There were food crumbs beside the bed, so the room clearly hadn't been vacuumed.
The staff we encountered were friendly and that was the only redeeming quality.

Overall a nice stay in Zagreb rooms are sizeable. Hotel is well located in the centre with the main square and old town in walkable distance. Breakfast good value when bought in advance. Only minor negative was slow check in process which was apologised for. Will look to stay if in Zagreb again.
