I stayed here for one night with my daughter after a trip to Peppa Pig World, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely, and there was so much to do. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, played ping-pong, explored the grounds, and even went on the zip line. The most magical part was seeing the wild horses just a short walk away. Being right in the heart of the New Forest made it feel really special. My daughter also loved the piano man and danced her little heart away. To make our stay even more special, the hotel surprised her with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch and made her day. It was truly an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to come back.

Disappointed in our stay - particularly with respect to value for money. Although the building and grounds are attractive, the photos are misleading. In our room and main hotel areas: furniture faded and stained, peeling paint and water stains on the walls, mould in the shower, dirty windows and light fixtures covered in cobwebs. The mattress was very firm. It was too warm for the duvet provided - a flat sheet would have been a thoughtful alternative. The TV connection was so unstable; we had to fiddle with the cable to watch. In anticipation of hot weather we asked whether we should bring our own fan and were told one would be provided; that fan was broken. Staff were unable to provide a replacement. As only three of the four windows opened, and only slighlty, the room was hot and stuffy all night. Outside, the pool area had comfortable chairs but ladders into the pool were not fixed properly, the paint was peeling, and the water in need of cleaning. No towels were provided. The Adirondack chairs by the entrance were a nice place for a drink and to take in the view, but needed to be cleared of the many glasses and ashtrays from previous visitors. Put us off eating in the restaurant. As far as being dog-friendly, for £15 extra, only a few tiny treats and poo-bags were provided, with scale-stained water bowls at the entrance. On check-out staff did not inquire about our stay; merely said good bye. A very poor comparison to other hotels in the same category.

Close to port - room is spacious . They should have put 2 queen instead of 2 tiny twin beds

Beautiful setting with a upmarket vibe around the complex. Entrance lobby and reception very smart. Staff were helpful. We decided on the cheaper windowless room knowing there was a skylight with natural light. But skylight blind was broken . Room was not cleaned or replenished over the two day stay. Leisure facilities were very good but at £10 per visit per person remember to bare this in mind in price comparisons. Food was reasonable but quite pricey for what it was. All said I would return even just for the pleasure of the golf course !
