Nice clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff

Everything was great including the breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Birks Montreal. The lobby is beautiful and the smell absolutely fabulous. The hotel is well located, the rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are modern. Our room was on the 6th floor with a city view, it was surprisingly quiet, we slept very well. The bathrobes are luxurious but we’re surprised that there were no slippers. We took advantage to have drinks at the bar before going out for dinner and then had breakfast on our last day.

The staff, location and access to the old city were all great. We usually stay downtown so this was a nice change. The room was small but we'll appointed. The wifi worked well. The continental breakfast offered was nothing special so we skipped and had a delicious breakfast at a café around the corner.

The breakfast was great, but since the shower didn't have a door, water leaked out onto the floor every time I used it.

Rooms have modern amenities, but use of space could be improved. My room had a large empty space that could have been a nice sitting area or kitchenette. The terrace was nice, but the furniture outside was in poor condition (broken table, sofa cushions stained and dirty.) A few other oddities: our room was right above the restaurant which made for a very loud and late night on the weekend. There was an ice bucket in the room, but no ice machines.
