Upon arrival we were given a hard time to enter, security asked for our identification and for our driver too, and were told that his coworker would have to wait at the gate until he drops us off. We were informed if this driver was to pick us up we would need a picture of his drivers license and license plate so he can enter the property. When we arrived at the check in desk, we were told that’s not true that what they could do was escort us to the gate. They need to educate stafff on what the correct procedure is. The man at the front desk was very rude. When he checked us out he did not say he was done with us and just walked off. Not sure what his problem was.
Room: our room had sand and hair on the floors when we arrived. It looked a little dated too. Once cleaned the second day we got to enjoy it more. Bed was comfortable and mini bar was a well stocked. One day they forgot to restock but that was fixed with a call.
Food: excellent variety. Fresh fruit during breakfast and lunch. A lot of great options.
Beach and pool: the beach had A LOT of seaweed inside the water and out. They need to do a better job cleaning it up. The pool was enjoyable, needs maintenance as it was missing quite a lot of tiles.
Drinks:; we’re okay, some overly sweet and lacking alcohol.
Overall had a great family vacation, there was a different entertainment every night.
