Costa Daurada Golf Holidays

The hotel was rated as a 3 star+ but I would rate just a 3 star. The rooms where quite tired and needed updating. Edging chipped, very basic metal frame beds, lampshades tired and dirty. The maid service daily were good. Pool area needed a jet wash and the pool was very cloudy and murky. The sunbeds were generally saved nd taken by 10am but had spare sunbeds to put out but not much space left though the upper terrace was nice spacious and relaxing with shade if needed. Nice view of the sea from the upper terrace and pool area.Great location across from the beach and close to the centre. We were bed and breakfast and the food selection was really good and very nice. We only needed the front desk staff a couple of times but they were friendly and helpful. Worth the money for what we paid.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Enjoyed the walk along the beach visiting the restaurants and stores. The spa at the hotel was amazing with not only sauna but an ice room! It is far from Barcelona however the train made it easy to transport to and from!

We’ve stayed at all of the hotels and this one twice previously over the past ten years and it just needs updating. The air con is none existent and after a few days complaining about the lack of no sleep we were finally given a fan but not great in such hot temperatures and for a ten night stay. The pool areas need cleaning and the sand taken away as it just wasn’t clean with gag bits empty ice cream cartons . It felt scruffy. Such a shame as the pool is beautiful but the sun loungers need a good jet washing etc. The queue waiting times haven’t improved either. Twenty mins at least to get a drink and it’s almost like the staff are asked to go really slow and chat to each other on purpose. I really for the bar staff at night trying to work in conditions s with no air con - sweat dripping off them just makes it a miserable experience for them and customers. We didn’t choose all inclusive this time for this exact reason. Only one bar and excessive lines every day and night. I’ve never understood why they don’t serve ice cream in a different kiosk. We chose the half board option but also were not allowed to change to lunch on the days we wanted to go into the park for the evening. Just seems silly when we have paid for it . You should have the option to change . Also no where to buy snacks during the day unless you want to pay -€23 euro each at the cafe maya for some measly pizza and dried up burger. I feel that the attention to detail has really gone downhill unfortunately.

We were pleased with our stay. Note it, to get a breakfast we needed to go to another place. This was within a short walking distance. In that place we could stay all day long, having fun by a couple of different pools surrounded by tropical style garden.. It was pleasant!
