I want to make this review fair. I don't believe the photos show an accurate description of the property. The rooms are bare and basic, a foam mattress and sheets. The air conditioning is antiquated and slow to cool. The pool and bar area are nice. But if you aren't ready for it, the hotel is on a wild party street full of bars and intoxicated young people. It could be great if that is what you are looking for. It was over a three hundred dollar hotel including fees and taxes with 10/10 positive reviews, which made it sound and look like a more high-end hotel. I arrived with heavy luggage to a non working luggage elevator to get in the building. I am not young, and it was not easy pulling bags up the stairs. The desk personnel were kind and nice, but then getting on the elevator to my room, a drunk young man knocked my suitcase and bag onto the floor and broke a jar of honey...inside my bag. That was an hour cleanup of my books, computer, Ipad etc. The worst part was the cleaning chemical smell in the room. I tried to air the room out with no luck, but when I opened the closet, the smell was really quite horrible. This is room 310. Management needs to attend to this. I don't believe it is safe. Requesting a refund, I did not receive one but still, I checked out of the hotel an hour later. Again, if you're there for the party street, the pool, etc, and you're young and ready to roll, it could be the perfect spot.

Very comfortable and quiet room even though it was overlooking the pool area. Enormous comfortable bed. Air conditioning was good and easy to control. Bathroom was excellent with walk in shower. Very good hot and cold buffet breakfast.

The staff were very hardworking and attentive. The design of the room incorporates modern elements with the roots of the building beautifully. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Es Princep and will return someday. The beautifully-designed Es Princep is located within walking distance to all of the incredible sights of the old city of Palma. This is important to note as we discovered it was faster to walk (8-12 minutes) than wait 5 minutes for a taxi (8 Euros). We were consistently greeted and served by an excellent front-desk team. They helped us to: plan our sightseeing trips, get our car from the garage, obtain tickets to the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Palma (Gaudi’s modifications), and recommended excellent local restaurants. Additionally, the food and staff in their delicious breakfast buffet were top notch. As was the housekeeping staff who were all hardworking and friendly.

Great trip! Hotel in a lovely location

The staff were wonderful at this hotel. Beatrix was the first person we met as we checked in - she was so helpful and welcoming, and this continued with all staff throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was great! We can wholeheartedly recommend nearby Sardinia, L’Artista and restaurant Skipper for food, though if the breakfast at the hotel is anything to go by, the food at the hotel was fabulous too! The room was spacious and clean. We had a partial sea view which was lovely. There are 2 pools and both are large, clean and surrounded by many sun loungers. They provide pool towels, which you can change daily. Would totally recommend and would stay again. Thank you!
