Rooms have beautifully traditional decor but have fine modern features like step-in showers and adequate air conditioning. Hotel is on a quiet, elegant, leafy residential street, but still convenient. It is in an early 1900's building that resembles a mansion but had been a US Embassy building. Most importantly, staff is especially knowledgeable and helpful.

Wanted that “old Rome” feel. Got it! Wonderful!!

The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

They only serve meals at certain times. No bar. Everything was extra extra like spa, happy hour, pools, etc. Very overpriced for the quality of the hotel.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Rome. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from major landmarks, charming cafés, and lively streets. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay feel special. Every detail, from the smooth check‑in to the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, made our visit unforgettable. We would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome.

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can ask them with directions and tours. The location is the best. Very centrally located. Very clean as well. The only thing is that the taxi will not take you to the front of the hotel because it's a walking zone. It's about 5 minutes walk. But other than that, it's the best stay in Rome. Me and my husband were very happy with our stay. Danny gave us the room with the balcony. Plus it is few minutes walk to Spanish Steps and local restaurants. I really recommend this hotel. Very happy with my stay.
