It was an okay stay. I don't understand how it is a 4-star hotel. It barely makes the cut for a 3-star, let alone 4. Everything was extremely average. Food was a bit above average, and the restaurant was clean. The whole 3rd floor smelt like cigarettes, and our bedsheets and blankets did too.

Tranquil property. Comfortable rooms but what others say about the air conditioners noise and bathrooms is true. The staff, especially restaurant were terrific. Management is aware the gym needs work. I exercise seriously and had to go to an outside facility. No more harbor construction noise. The harbor could be an eyesore if you want natural ocean views. But it had its own charm. Management really cares about your satisfaction.

I have been staying at Vivanta whenever I fly in from abroad. Rooms are consistently well maintained and staff courteous and professional. The breakfast buffet has good variety and quality.
