Excellent location. Car parking available if needed. Check was easy and the lady at the reception was very helpful and we was lucky that are room was ready early. Rooms start on the 4th floor. There are lifts but the staircase is available via the spa. Rooms very spacious, great air conditioning and beds very comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities available. Didn't use any other facilities.

The hotel itself is excellent - great location and architecture. The cool atmosphere and aircon were welcoming on the hottest June day ever recorded in Cardiff! The facilities were great - including bedroom, bar and pool / spa. A couple of disappointments though. Guaranteed check-in from 3p.m. We arrived at 2.15 so went to the bar to wait. By 3.30 still no room, so after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing they eventually found us an upgrade. The breakfast - distinctly average for the price and luke-warm.

Wonderful 3 night stay in a deluxe room, food in BLOK was divine and we loved our time using the indoor pool, such a beautiful hotel, staff are a real credit to this place, especially Helen at breakfast time who helped us plan our days out.
