We chose Courtyard despite some mixed recent reviews, keeping an open mind. The hotel is largely renovated, though a few minor touch-ups are still needed. For instance, the lobby was undergoing some work during our stay, but the reception staff was very nice, breakfast was very varied. Our suite was immaculate, with just a few small exceptions that I shared on-site with the very cooperative staff.

The location couldn't be any better -- just steps away from the historic square. The room and hotel were a bit tired in decor, and the room was quite small. But there was complimentary parking, and that was a definite plus.

Clean bright room, comfortable bed and decent for the price as you have access to the swimming pool and breakfast in the Mercure that is attached. Only negative is that the air con was broken in the room so it was quite hot in the room and we needed to keep the window open to cool down.
