Napa Valley Fishing Holidays

The pools ph was high and over chlorinated. My eyes and skin burned. As I traveled from building to building not know long there was an exterior path one building 3 I think smelled like bug spray and I couldn’t breathe. There were also cigarette butts and q-tips in the rocks outside the sliding glass door..

High cost for resort fee and parking given the room cost. Main restaurant menu and food marginal. Coffee shop excellent.

The property is lovely but the rooms are older. Our AC didn’t work the first night which made our small room stuffy. I didn’t want to report it in the middle of the night and have workers trying to fix it so we waited until the next morning when we knew we’d be out. The staff was very helpful and fixed the AC right away. The gym is nice to have but it does get crowded with the business crowd staying at the hotel. The food was good in the restaurant and the service was excellent! We ended up using our free drink tickets for lattes, but I’m sure the cocktails would’ve been great too. Overall it was a nice stay, and we walked all over so it was centrally located as well.

A fantastic location - within easy reach of the Hayes Valley restaurants, Haight-Ashbury and, on Fourth of July weekend, the brilliant Filimore Jazz Festival. It was a real treat to stay in what felt like an authentic neighbourhood in this beautiful Victorian building.
