I expect the staff at a 5-star hotel in a country that makes most of their money from tourism to know a little english and be able to communicate with guests.

The facility is very clean, beautifully furnished, staff is very professional, incredibly helpful and efficient. The fitness center and the spa are excellent. It is somewhat out of the old city but it is quiet. If I visit Urfa again I will stay in this hotel.

The bed covers and bedsheets were worn down and old.

The staff doesn’t speak English and the hotel is ok.

The view of the lake was magnificent. However, although there was a hotel terrace overlooking the lake, it was very bare - not a plant in sight. Very unloved and the staff didn’t seem to be very enthusiastic. One waiter threw the bottletop from a beer bottle over the wall onto the lake shoreline every time he served a beer😳. There was some small building works and a waiter was pushing the wheelbarrow to help, and they then tipped the dirt rubble over the wall onto the side of the lake! No care for the environment. Our room was large but very basic and old fashioned. On the plus side, reception staff were very polite and helpful.
