Very small and dated rooms. Bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom yet the shower box was super tiny, impossible to turn around inside and no place to put soap.
Courtyard rooms are not good and we got woken up twice by garbage truck 5.30am and then 6.30am
some other delivery truck with laundry…

We had a recently refreshed room, which was very nice.
The hotel is good value for money compared with the bigger chains in the same area.
It is a nice period property with a good pub and restaurant.

Great location, clean and comfortable
"Great stay as usual here. We use this as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall. Great location, plenty of parking, breakfast included. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade but they are clean and the other factors make up up for this."
