This hotel is not a 5 star as advertised. The hotel is dated and needs a revamp. The hallways to get to room need to get painted, very bad shape. One thing in particular I didn’t like was having to put a 40 euro deposit to get 4 pool towels, and it had to be cash. The indoor pool was out of service. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Basilica. We was in a building across the road which we didn’t know about prior to arriving - we didn’t mind as it’s not far at all and rooms are still clean and have everything you need. Staff very nice and we didn’t have any complaints. Pool area lovely and enough space even though it was busy

"The position is really amazing cuz is near the center and clubs, restaurants… but the cleanliness was really bad and was really noisy all the time. U can’t access the pool when party is there and if u wanna go to gym u have to pay extra. The staff was good."

"Stayed for one night as holiday villa unavailable for that night. Marilou was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel for our party of six. Location is perfect. We’d have no hesitation in staying here again."
