The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

Hotel Plaza is in an ideal location…close to everything!! The staff is extremely friendly and super accommodating. We decided to stay another night and they were able to upgrade us to a larger room overlooking one of the main streets with a balcony. The morning breakfast buffet is AMAZING! The most delicious buffet we’ve ever had at a hotel. They also provide all of the amenities you could imagine in the rooms and the bed is super comfortable. The rooftop pool is even more beautiful than the online photos with a stunning view of Mount Vesuvius. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento!

The property is nothing like the pictures in advertising, at least the room for 4 people was terrible, looking like a prison cell instead of a hotel room, the yellow light always blinking.

The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

We had a great stay at Diana Pompei! It was centrally located, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was great. We had 4 people stay in the room and we were all comfortable. Would recommend staying here on your trip to Pompei!
