Traveled here twice already. I love this property for everything it has to offer. However the price of food has kept increasing throughout all restaurants in the property. That’s about the o my negative thing I have to say. All else is 10 stars

Everything was great!

Many pools, which is great, including pools and water park for children. Child care was great. Staff all around great. Foood from food trucks not so great; most of the menu was unavailable our entire 3 day stay. Alcoholic drinks not so great; appeared I was drinking juice the entire time; must have been cheap liquor because they poured a generous amount. Cheap low-grade beer at bars. Only when contacted front desk to request Presidente beer, was 2 cans brought to our room. Food at various restaurants was good. Unfortunately, was unable to try Los Gallos restaurant in the AM because an "exclusive" event was going on our entire trip. Food or snacks from carts in main lobby not so great; no good toppings for crepes, waffles, etc. Again staff great and trustworthy. Lost my phone twice and it was recovered quickly. Lost wedding ring and band in sand at beach and security located my band while I found the engagement ring. The shows in theater were good, but nightlife overall not good. Not enough Latin music. I would definitely return to the DR, but probably not stay at the Hard Rock.

My stay at Barceló Bávaro Beach – Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort was an exceptional experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was the genuine warmth of the staff—their smiles, friendliness, and professionalism truly made me feel welcome throughout my entire stay. The beach is absolutely unforgettable: pristine, well-maintained, and with a strong sense of security that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the surroundings. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. One of the highlights was the incredible variety of food options. The buffet restaurants, including Caribe, La Brisa, and Santa Fe, offered an impressive selection with something for every taste, and the quality was consistently excellent. I also appreciated how convenient everything was. With lounge bars, pool bars, theater bars, sports bars, lobby bars, and coffee spots all located throughout the resort, there was always a great place nearby to relax, grab a drink, or socialize. Overall, this resort delivers a well-rounded, enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. It’s truly a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable adults-only getaway.

Everything was great!

The property is older and the cove rooms are worn and need to be refreshed as do the bathrooms. Big complaint about pool water temperature being too cold -- we did not swim at all in the pool, and it is the main reason for being there. Pool temps should be much warmer and advertised as other resorts do. We will not come back as other resorts have much warmer pool temps. Not enough beach chairs with sun covers at the cove beach or the pool. -- these 2 activities are the main reason people choose to come here -- so really needs to be addressed -- a truly lovely resort - if they can attend to these items
