From the moment we arrived, every single employee we encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and went out of their way to provide extraordinary service. The warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel cared for at every step. The setting itself is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets here are some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen—golden, expansive, and perfectly framed by the surrounding jungle and ocean views. The resort truly lives up to its name, offering immersive nature experiences that feel both magical and serene. One of the most unforgettable highlights was the wildlife. We had close-up, personal encounters with monkeys that literally climbed onto our balcony—an experience you’ll never forget and one that perfectly captures how connected this resort is to its natural surroundings. The monkeys are harmless and fascinating to watch… just don’t leave your glass door open 😉. Parador strikes the perfect balance between luxury and nature. You feel completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, yet supported by an incredibly thoughtful and attentive team who clearly take pride in what they do. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive with a few exceptions. The food was great with lots of options. The property is beautiful, however the rooms are in need of a reno which is apparently happening this year. The $600 credit for each room is misleading as it is in the form of coupons that can only be redeemed for certain things.The spa was a disappointment. The massage was good but overpriced. The steam room was not functioning, and there was no communication as such. The Jacuzzi was not functioning fully either. The men’s change room had no hot water in the shower and there was a painting crew in there during regular hours. The painters were also going in and out of the ladies change room at their leisure which was incredibly uncomfortable. We have not stayed at a Riu before and not sure we will again.

Everyone was very friendly. However, the pool was very dirty full of debris leaves trees. The one pool was shut down. The rooms were not overly clean showers were a bit grumpy I was a bit disappointing for the cost per night

The room was clean and beautiful. The staff is AMAZING!!! Vans shuttle you around and they make everything so easy, fun and relaxing! Nelson and Ahmed were two of our favorites who went above and beyond! Our entire experience was top notch at Secrets! Thanks everyone!!!!
