The restaurant was the best thing, if you like to try authentic Egyptian food you’ll like it. However if you like western cuisine you might not like it at all. The beach is extremely shallow, we enjoyed it as we didn’t swim much. "We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort with my wife and teen daughter in a luxury suite to wrap up our extensive Egypt trip. The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."
