Great staff! Because I am in the cleaning industry I did notice that traditional cleaning chemicals where being used. I was very surprised that alternative, safer and more sustainable products had not been chosen.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was a bit too firm. The staff was friendly at the front desk.

Very comfortable and convenient - quiet and plush in the room but located right in the middle of downtown activities / sites. Construction on the streetcar was a bit limiting but obvs not the hotel’s fault there. 10/10 would stay here again

I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. I can’t recall the last time I had a hotel room that made me want to stay inside all day, but this one did. Splurge and do it.

Great property! Would stay there again and again. The coffee shop downstairs has great options for breakfast and lunch.

Was a very nice room and easy to come and go. However the fire alarm got pulled at 3am on my second last night there and not because of a fire. I then couldn't go back to bed and was super tired for my meetings the next day.

They changed our condo for any uses but was excellent.

Spent 1.5 hours trying to get into the room. Instructions got us to the lobby elevators, but could not get the elevators to take us to the 32nd floor despite multiple attempts and phone calls to GlobalStay. The elevators were very busy, which may have kept us from accessing the right elevator at the right time.
