Block Island National Wildlife Refuge Adventure Holidays

The hotel is situated in the central part of the city and is close to popular sites. This is a historic hotel which does not allow to enjoy modern amenities. The lobby is nice but the elevators are not clean and appear to be old and ’tired’. The same applies to the guest rooms which are small. The closet is virtually nonexistent. The bathroom is also small, with hardly any space to hang towels and place toiletry kit. There is no full service restaurant on site. Given the relatively high price of the rooms, this hotel does not offer good value.

Bed sheets had stains on them. I went downstairs and asked if they could change them and they did!!!

Our fifth time staying there and it never disappoints. We like the "newer" side best. The breakfast is always fantastic.

Highly recommend the Loft as it was a beautiful space. The Heddle room has a glass window in the door to the bathroom. Technically you could shower in privacy but I would rather a solid door. Staff handled an issue with our original room well. They were immediately available when I called and provided both a short term (moving rooms for the night) and long term solution (fixing the issue) plan within ten minutes. Heddle room is a good option if you need a place to sleep and will be otherwise out for the day. Loved the digital building and door keys. Easy parking. The entire building space is quite unique and stylish.
