The town was quaint. The hotel was clean and mostly updated. The Geothermal pool was my favorite part. The stay at this hotel could’ve been better if the beds were comfortable. The mattresses were hard and similar to military dorm beds. I’m hoping with the new reservations that was happening while I was there that would be one of the things this hotel would update. The front desk staff was personable and full of knowledge as far as where to explore in the area.

Charming hotel with warm staff, great food and lovely views. We were so happy to see the northern lights after a fun day exploring the sights. The staff goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. We loved sipping cocktails in the warm pool and watching the stars. Amazing.

All good: staff, hot bath outside (albeit a bit too hot!), very good breakfast, tea/coffee and cooking available in the lobby at all times, but the shower floor design is flawed: the water rolls into the room from under the door. And there is no fridge.
In general, very good for the price.
