We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would definitely come back. There were plenty of facilities to enjoy, including a lovely pool, a beautiful beach, and tennis courts. The hotel also had a great variety of restaurants, with something different to try each day. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breathtaking views were the highlight of the trip and made the whole experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Really great way to be introduced to Lake Garda and European full amenity travel. The included breakfast is well staffed and good choices; pool is enormous and water is optimally conditioned/balanced and was very clear and clean even with an extremely heavy swimmer load. We were close enough to Lake Garda to make trips for dinner in either Garda or Bardolino (preferred) quite easy. Do your homework on making lake swimming happen ahead of team - we did not locate a great beach option proximate to Poiana Resort.

Just back from a great holiday with 3 young children. The staff are great, restaurants serve amazing food and cocktails with live music at weekends. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools and it was great to be able to walk along the lake front onto the old town

The room was initially clean however there's a real ant infestation problem across the entire site and by the first morning the kitchen floor was crawling. We didn't realise the extent of the ant problems until we were packing our car, ants had managed to get into our car as the curbs were crawling with nests. The reception staff couldn't care less about this issue and shoo'd us away when we mentioned compensation to clean the car. The beds were so uncomfortable, we would've probably been better off sleeping on the floor and to have to pay to hire bed linen is very strange. The restaurant doesn't have aircon and you have to sit outside which isnt ideal in 37° heat. There's lots of space inside the restaurant but only a few tables in the outside area that you can dine so many people were being turned away. There's a lot of disused space/function rooms and again no aircon in the bar near the restaurant. The restaurant staff were okay. The waiter Marco was great, he was running around like there was a fire beneath him, poor guy was doing the job of 4 people. The only good thing about the place is the pool area, the area is clean and the pool staff are good including the 'Smile Makers' who interact all day with the kids. Unfortunately the resort is a little too far from the town Colombare when walking in excessive heat, it needs a back entrance to save 20 minutes from the walk. Over all, this is a budget stay, similar to Butlins and not worth the money paid.

This is an amazing hotel in many ways! The staff are incredibly warm and helpful; the location is fantastic --with breath-taking views; the swimming pools and spa are top-notch; the restaurant food and service are excellent. It is an easy walk to Stresa, where we enjoyed shopping and drinks. I simply cannot say enough good things about our stay! I give this hotel my highest recommendation.

We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere.

Great location. Lake Lugano is exceptional. The pool is great. I only wish I had more time.
