A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay

No issue with parking and in a great location

The staff at the front desk didn’t tell us we had to use two elevators to get to our room. Frustrating figuring out on your own. Unless you want to hang by the pool, there is absolutely nothing to do at this hotel. There is no nearby town to walk around , only the hotel surrounded by beautiful wine country. Also it’s a harrowing mountainous drive to get to this hotel. The roads are barely wide enough for a small SUV.

We just stayed one night before a planned weekend on our way for a wedding at a nearby vineyard. This hotel was everything we expected. Welcoming service, comfortable room and nice breakfast. For our evening meal, the restaurant around the corner was recommended by front desk. A unique family run restaurant. Not sure it goes by the old name, but very easy to get to. Great place to stay.
