Finca Rosa Blanca is magical! A serene escape with a truly unique design—think Gaudí meets Costa Rica. The coffee is top-notch, the location is peaceful, and the whole place has so much charm. Highly recommend for a quiet, beautiful stay.

This is the best resort I have ever stayed at. The people who work here are incredibly nice. The amenities are incredible and the natural beauty of the place is unmatched. The place is surrounded by jungle, but somehow the resort’s cleanliness is top tier. The rooms have such an amazing feel, and the private hot tubs are incredible.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Barcelo. We were a bit disappointed about a few things: there was no microwave in the room, although there was a fridge. Also there was not much to do at the hotel entertainment- we were looking forward to relaxing in the jacuzzi, which turned out to not be relaxing at all: it was in the middle of the gym and did not have bubbles or anything. We enjoyed the breakfast being included, which had a decent amount of options. We liked the pina coladas at the hotel also. Overall the food was kind of bland at all of the hotel restaurants, but not bad (do not order guacamole). The desk staff were very nice and helpful, and the staff in the gift shop were extremely friendly also. Luis, one of the buffet restaurant employees, was our server on our first day at the hotel and was incredible- he was so friendly and welcoming. We had only one negative interaction during our stay with an employee at the pool bar. Housekeeping was very nice also and came frequently. The hotel was very clean overall. One more thing we liked was the free airport shuttle, which you can schedule via email. Would recommend to someone visiting Costa Rica on a budget.
