The male front desk staff when we checkedin 09/08/26 needs retraining. He had a prblem with a previous reservation, argued with IT, n showed irritiation at us checking in. He is snippy. does not look like he knows what he is doing and irritated that he has to do it. The lady cook at the (not free) breakfast lounge was truly nice. She was told to deliver some shampoos. I found her at the lounge that felt like an oven. She does her job patiently n still was light hearted. but NO ONE will eat in that place- no airconditioning in this 100 degree weather, not even a fan. The poor woman will pass out! shame on you. we actualy love the Room set up. very nice and efficient.no tub! but love the mirror. i would have liked this place spcly for free shaded parking. but needs sound proofing. it's facing a busy street. could not sleep due to speeding motorcycles, train horn. put a soundproofing curtain or something. If you need sleep, this is not for you. but i am glad there is something cost effective and designer in chula vista. just pls fix the issues i found. n make it free breakfast. or you just waste the poor kitchen woman's time. the place is surrounded by restaurants. why would we eat in a furnace hot place. thank you

I stayed here for a work conference that was held at the Gaylor, this was very accessible and in a nice location. I really enjoyed the Rambler Cafe that is connected to the front desk. Great food and coffee drinks. The rooms are nicely decorated and everything felt and looked clean!
