Check-in was smooth and the first impression of the hotel was very positive. When I entered the room, it was newly decorated, modern, and looked fantastic. Unfortunately, that impression didn’t last long. As soon as I used the bathroom, I found toilet paper stuck to the walls, along with numerous hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor. When I checked the bed, I also found two hairs in it. These certainly weren’t mine, as I’m bald. I immediately reported this to reception, expecting the issue to be resolved quickly. Instead, I was told that if I wanted to change rooms, I would have to pay. I explained that I wasn’t asking for an upgrade—I simply wanted a clean room. The receptionist was dismissive and told me I would have to wait until the morning when the manager was available. No one assisted me that evening. The following day, housekeeping visited my room. They cleaned the bathroom but didn’t change or remake the bed. As I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in it after finding hairs, I had slept on top of the sheets. Housekeeping simply adjusted the pillows and left, completely ignoring the issue I’d reported. At checkout, I spoke with a manager and explained how distressed I was by the cleanliness problems and how rude the receptionist had been when I raised my concerns. Very close to the national park. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the kitchen only provided the bare bones. Zero dishes, pots or silverware. What is the kitchen for if you can't use it?? Or do people in Andorra pack their own dishes and pot and pans for a vacation? It's just weird. Also, in the summer, the rooms get very hot and there is not even a fan to cool it down. The walls are made of paper, so definitely bring earplugs. Even though I had earplugs, I could barely get any sleep. My neighbors were super loud, so couldn't leave the balcony door open, so I woke up many times to noises and sweating. And apparently smoking is allowed, so if your neighbors are smoking while you're trying to cool your room down in the evening, now you get to smell cigarette smoke in your room too!! Great! Hot, noisy and stinky ... Definitely not staying here next time. They serve breakfast at 7:30 and dinner at 19:30. So, if you're coming here to hike the Coma Pedrosa and want to go to bed early and wake up early, don't count on the meals. Maybe it's nice here over the winter, but not a good summer place for sure. I had dinner once, it was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just too lazy to go into town after hiking all day, so had to do. And I was pretty hungry, so this was just convenient.
