The best thing about the Park Shore is the people that work there. Angel, the Guest Services Manager, is exceptional at his job. He kind and patient and most importantly authentic. The entire staff was amazing. The lobby is just what you want in a Hawaiian hotel. It’s welcoming, smells floral, decorated with a stylish island vibe and has local music playing. The pool is no frills and small. But I didn’t have a hard time finding a spot in the sun or shade. I guess most guests are out and about or across the street at the beach. My room was the cheapest offering. It was no frills with a view of another hotel. But it fit the bill. Outdated but clean. Everything worked properly and the shower’s water pressure wasn’t bad. This is a good spot if you’re just looking for a place to lie your head at the end of the day. It’s conveniently located. Being that there is quite a homeless population around the park and the beach, it was nice to have someone at the front desk 24/7 and there was also a night time security guard for extra safety.

The staff at this resort is exceptional- kind, helpful, unobtrusive and thoughtful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We saw sea turtles, monk seal, and a variety of species of fish while snorkeling.

A very large hotel in a small city what it lacks is amenities that match the size of the hotel the pools are very undersized. The beach is very small poolside service is nearly nonexistent and they provide no entertainment or music on the beach at night.

My stay at ‘Alohilani was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making my family and me feel genuinely welcome. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, which we really appreciated. The pool is beautiful and my kids had a good time in it. There was one small issue during our stay—one evening, after giving our used towels to the housekeeper (who had run out of replacements), we requested fresh towels through guest services. They assured us someone would bring them up, but unfortunately, no one ever did. We ended up going to the 5th floor to grab pool towels for the night. The following day, we went back to guest services and finally received the towels we needed. Aside from that, everything else was great. The property is beautiful, in a perfect location, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The localization was very good, near the beach, restaurants an stores. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The bedroom was clean and organized . The kitchen was clean, organized and had all utensils available.
