Visit the tropical paradise of Oahu, the most populated island of Hawaii , with its unrivalled surf, beautiful beaches and incredible family attractions like the Disney Hawaii Resort. On the Hawaiian island of Oahu, Honolulu is the city where it all happens. Here you will find the most beautiful sandy beaches and top luxury boutiques just a stone's throw from each other. Just west of Honolulu you'll find monuments to commemorate the people who died in the bombing of Pearl Harbour during World War II, a massive moment in American history that brought about their entry into World War II. Continue to Kailua is great for windsurfing and kite surfing. At the nearby Kane'ohe you find peace and quiet in the botanical garden. From Makapu'u Beach you’ll have a magnificent view over the coastline, stroll to vantage points above the active lighthouse and see if you can spot the gigantic whales out at sea.
If surfing isn’t really your thing then there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the sea; rent kayaks or paddle boards or simply entertain yourself in calmer waters with a little swim. There’s plenty to do on dry land too. Go mountain biking, horseback riding or hike the trails through the jungle to the lookouts with spectacular views. Play a round of golf at one of the island’s golf courses or shop in the chic boutiques or outlet stores.
Fly into Oahu via Honolulu International Airport. The best way to explore the island is by rental car, which gives you the freedom to see what you want, when you want. However, there is a public transport network too, which can take you to all the popular spots on the island.
Oahu is a popular destination for holiday s and honeymoons because it offers a pleasant combination of beautiful nature, relaxation and exciting entertainment. Experience for yourself why the international tourists keep gathering at Oahu.
