We absolutely loved our stay. The Penthouse suite had amazing views of Istanbul. We managed to spot some of the iconic buildings such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Galata Tower.
The beds were so comfortable and overall the 4 bedroom suite was more rhan adequate for a family of 5.

Superb top floor room with glorious view of the Bosphorus. Upgrade to use the Executive suite (food/drink) was not cheap but probably paid for itself as Istanbul is expensive to eat out. The hotel is still under extensive renovation and building works were unsightly and restricted access to spa and swimming pool facilities. Eating and drinking in the hotel bars/restaurants were very expensive.

I am a very experienced traveler and have enjoyed exceptional service at many hotels around the world. However, I was not very happy with the customer service and food at Istanbul Marriott Sisli. Unfortunately, we got sick after eating room service. We reported the issue, but no one followed up or acknowledged our complaint.
The room cleanliness was just okay—not up to the standard expected from a 5-star hotel. Overall, the experience was average and did not reflect the quality I usually associate with the Marriott brand.

Hotel is conveniently located in old city close to all major attractions and grand bazaar. Very friendly staff. The only problem is that the most of the rooms are looking at the wall and have not enough light.
