(1,001 reviews) The rooms are large and decorated in the heritage style expected for this hotel. I stayed for the architecture of this hotel and was somewhat disappointed with my stay. Only one staff member was on reception and dealing with some complex issues for another customer. The wait was long after delayed flights. Was given a room with twin beds despite travelling solo. The tv service was out & no menus available in for room service that closed shortly. Once ordered down at reception, salad arrived quickly and was delicious. I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night and had a better first impression. The Rendezvous Hotel is a walking distance from Chinatown, Victorias Market and the Mailbox Hotel where I was picked up by a tour company. The Rendezvous Hotel has all facilities that Bussiness people need to succeed. The lobby is impressive with the side bar and meeting area.The elevator is secured, a card is needed to go up to your room.
