Really lovely hotel, wonderful location, great room, wonderful view and splendid breakfast, The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Sadly the starred restaurant was closed.

Romano Palace Luxury Hotel is absolutely not a 5-star hotel — it’s barely a 2-star establishment at best! The rooms are completely old-fashioned, right down to the outdated wardrobes, and the bed is so painfully hard that after just two days my back was aching and it was impossible to lie on it comfortably; the shower head kept falling down onto my head, my son’s head, and my partner’s head every single time we tried to use it, which was completely unacceptable. When I wanted to relax and rest by the swimming pool, the music was blaring far too loud and was so noisy I couldn’t even read a book — I complained repeatedly, yet nobody cared and they just kept turning the volume up even higher. I eventually asked to speak to the manager, a lady who couldn’t even speak or understand proper English so nothing was resolved at all. By the middle of the week I was completely fed up and had no choice but to book another hotel and move elsewhere because I simply couldn’t endure any more of this nonsense in that awful place; it’s incredibly overpriced, delivers nothing close to luxury, and I had the most terrible holiday of my life — I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, it is falsely advertised and a total waste of money.

This was in every aense the 5-star hotel that NH is known for. Fantastic room, helpful reception personnel and seamless valet parking!

Fantastic location right in the middle of all the action, with shops, restaurants, and sights just steps away. The staff was extremely attentive and thoughtful, making sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. I especially loved the beautiful rooftop patio, it was such a great spot to relax and take in the surroundings. The cute little breakfast in the morning was a lovely touch and made for a very peaceful start to the day. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would happily return!

A very well maintained hotel. An excellent pool. Incredibly helpful staff even though we speak very limited Italian and an exceptional breakfast.

Special thanks to the staff member who stayed in touch via WhatsApp answering immediately to all questions and helping with every little issue we had! The room is specious and clean with all the necessary amenities. Also, the hotel is located very close to Pozzallo train station, so you don't need to look for taxi to continue your trip around Sicily
