(540 reviews) We came back to the W as a family this time. We had connecting track view rooms on the Marina side which also came with an accessible room for smooth disabled facilities. Staff were amazing as always from the valets, security, reception, concierge, breakfast, gym to the housekeeping staff. Everyone deserves credit for the hospitality and efficient service they provide at one of the busiest times of the year. They helped create a welcoming atmosphere at all times for groups of all ages. I’d asked for an extra single bed to be provided in one room and it wasn’t picked up from our wishlist (all the other items were though) but was brought up within 20mins despite it being 3am. We stayed over NYE so got to see the Yas Fireworks at the Etihad Arena from our room. There was music till the early hours which got a bit noisy for the kids but expected due to the branding vibe of the hotel. The window do keep some of the noise from the track and overhead planes out but this is not the place to stay if you want total tranquility for the duration of your stay. Great location for the Yas theme parks and only 1hr from Dubai Marina by car. For those wishing to get tickets to the parks, there is are discounted tickets for Person of Determination and an accompanying adult available from the parks. My daughter went on many of the rides at Warner Bros despite some concern about being denied access raised by other posts online.
