Our family ran into unexpected passport issues and were tuned away at the gate from our flight to Venice (family in tears, we missed two full days of our trip). We tried to do a partial cancellation with this hotel via the Hotels.com service team but they ended up not responding to that team after initially asking us for additional documentation for our situation (which we did end up providing). I was hoping for more compassion for our situation from the hotel vs. not responding at all to follow-ups. Can’t speak about the hotel quality itself, but the service is definitely not recommended.
