"The Good: Silvan saved this review. He was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. My son had a medication that needed to be refrigerated and he ensured that it was and that all staff knew about it so I could get it at any time. When we needed to be assigned a new room, he understood. He didn’t try to convince me I was wrong or fight me- he was just happy to make us happy. We thank you so much Silvan! The breakfast was also very good and coffee anytime you want it definitely a plus. They have the hospitality down! The location is great! Right next to the train station and easy walk to old town. The bad: When we first checked in we were given a family room on the old side of the hotel. It was horrific. Stains on the bed frame itself, a bathroom that the entire floor was the shower, and mold everywhere- I was afraid to touch anything. We were then given a room on the “renovated side” which although much cleaner didn’t have the extra bed we paid for! My husband and I had to share a queen size bed with our son. To top things off they give one pillow and it is too flat! We were not comfortable at all. I am still waiting on my partial refund for the fact that we paid for an extra bed for our son we never got. ***Note that renovations are going on next to the hotel and they start at 7am! Wish it was mentioned before we stayed. I know it is not something the hotel has control over so I do not hold it against them at all! I just wish we knew before hand. "

"Great room, clean and quiet. Just be aware that their is no wall for the shower. Breakfast is expensive (but everything is expensive at Zürich) location was not the best, need to use the tram for transportation, it’s about 25 min away from main attractions. Never felt unsafe. "

"This is the smallest hotel I have stayed in, one level above hostel, no kettle, no room to move around, no option to lower temperature, no room service, no reception, its like staying in a capsule. Stay away and I am never staying here again."

"I had an excellent stay at the Sheraton Zürich Hotel. Everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities in the room were excellent. The staff were outstanding—very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and the team made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel facilities were great, and everything was organized and high quality. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Zürich. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a pleasant stay.
