The mattresses are VERY firm. I slept on the rollout sofa and my wife slept in the bed because i cant sleep on a hard mattress . Have stayed there several times and if you want s softer mattress this in not the place. May not stay there anymore but the Holiday Inn was also very hard. Maybe its a Guatemala City thing
