That’s exactly what awaits you at Koje Lütt Kirr, our modern holiday rental in Zingst-Müggenburg, quietly situated between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, right next to the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.

The apartment—bright, high-quality, cosy

In the open-concept living and dining area, floor-to-ceiling windows create a light-filled atmosphere and offer a view of the greenery. The Chesterfield sofa and the cosy TV armchair invite you to relax—and when the evening gets cooler, the crackling fireplace turns the living area into the perfect retreat.
The bedroom, featuring a large box-spring bed, ensures a restful night’s sleep after an active day on the coast.
The modern bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower and heated floors, is a treat both in the morning and at night—a little spa-like feeling included.
The high-quality kitchen with a counter is fully equipped: induction stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle, plus a modern electric grill for the patio—everything you need.

What we especially love about the cottage

Our absolute highlight is the spacious, covered south-facing terrace. Whether it’s breakfast in the morning sun, a lunch break surrounded by greenery, or a relaxing evening after a long day at the beach—this spot is addictive. The terrace is quiet and secluded; no outside views disturb the idyll.
And right outside the front door, vast meadows and breathtaking sunsets await—just step outside and enjoy.
When, in the spring and fall, cranes fly over Kirr Island in huge flocks, large groups of barnacle geese arrive, and deer graze in the meadows both morning and evening—it becomes clear why guests keep coming back here
Plus: super-fast Wi-Fi, a lockable bike shed with an e-bike charging station, and a reserved private parking spot right outside the door.
Of course, you can bring your dog—your four-legged friend is warmly welcome.

The Region—Pure Nature Right Outside Your Door

Müggenburg is located right next to the national park—and you can really tell. The Bodden meadows begin right outside your door, where roe deer graze and barnacle geese flock in droves. The Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route runs right past the house and connects the entire Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.
Zingst’s natural beach is just a five-minute ride away—and for those who want to cycle further, the peninsula rewards you with a constant stream of new discoveries: Riding through the Osterwald or the Sundische Wiesen, you’ll reach the tip of the peninsula—Pramort and the Hohe Düne—after about 14 km: absolute wilderness, hardly anyone around, and a vast sky.
Zingst itself, with its 270-meter-long pier, restaurants, and the unique diving gondola, is just a few minutes’ bike ride away.
Prerow, with its legendary West Beach and quaint captains’ houses, is also worth a visit. The artists’ village of Ahrenshoop and the historic old town of Barth round out the excursion options.

Our favourite trail right outside the front door

Just grab your bikes from the shed and head out towards the Bodden—right from the front door, you’ll ride past reed beds, grazing geese, and a wide-open sky.
If you’re lucky, you might spot a white-tailed eagle.
